Quorum is a bespoke WordPress membership plugin, built as the companion to the Plinth theme. It manages the full member lifecycle, from application review and onboarding to recurring and one-off billing through Stripe, with webhook-driven renewals and dunning alerts. Every member receives a digital membership card with a QR code for instant verification.
The member portal brings together news, event registration with capacity management, volunteering opportunities and personalised action prompts.
Quorum also runs secret ballots with end-to-end anonymity: votes are stored apart from voter records, results stay sealed until polls close, and every action is written to a hash-chained, tamper-evident audit log.
It’s built on privacy-by-design principles, with two-factor authentication, role-based access control, encryption at rest and self-service data export and erasure in line with UK and EU GDPR. The interface follows WCAG 2.2 AA principles throughout.
